Kokihi / NZ spinach is an incredibly versatile plant and one that I use almost everywhere.
Kokihi readily flowers and goes to seed multiple times most seasons here in Auckland. This provides a constant ground cover, locking in moisture and creating unlimited quantities of delicious juvenile spinach morsels. It also provides a great resource in a chop and drop pea straw replacement.
